Singapore Hotels

This £250 million state-of-the-art performing arts centre has quickly become one of Singapore's major attractions. With its distinctive roof - shaped like two microphones - and stunning views over the marina, it is also one of the city's most recognisable landmarks. Opened in October 2002, it hosts both Asian and Western musicals, pop gigs, orchestral recitals, theatre, dance and lots more.

The 1600-seat concert hall has outstanding acoustics, the 2000-seat theatre is home to Singapore's largest stage and the Jendela exhibition space offers fantastic views of Marina Bay. Shops, indoor and outdoor restaurants make up the ever-bustling Esplanade Mall, spread over three floors.

Directions By Rail: a 10-minute walk from the City Hall Mass Rapid Train Station (MRT) through an underpass which also links four shopping centres - Raffles City, Marina Square, Suntec City and Millenia Walk.
By Bus: the nearest bus stop is located along Raffles Ave, outside the Esplanade Mall entrance.
